resulting in semi deserts such as the Karoo.
Water, the new gold
Increasingly, as water scarcity becomes a major challenge throughout the
planet, the value of this limited commodity is growing exponentially, pushing
water, water recycling, water treatment, and water reuse up the priority list
in municipalities around the country. To this end, Water, Sewage & Effluent
is publishing the Report to the Water Research Commission in two parts, in
which guidelines for monitoring, management, and communication of water
quality in direct wastewater reclamation are discussed. Extracted from a
