The main event started as a struggle with Brendon in sixth place
for the first few laps, then in the
fifth lap he was able to make up
some ground eventually passing
the fifth and fourth place cars and
holding on to take fourth overall.
All in all a great race day for Brendon. Looking ahead the stampede
race on June 7th, hoping to make a
good showing on his birthday.
Incidently Stampede is also his”
Backyard Race” as the family
resides North of Scremento, Cali.
where this next race is located.
I heard thru the Grape Vines,
that the other Car of the Team will
have the re-bult engine and other
repairs needed to compete. That
would be Jake Yeoman and car
#1976.
The magazine has been following
along with the build of
the 51Fifty sponsored
car of Brendons since
it was a pile of tubing
laying on the floor. The
Sponsors for the build
began with Maxxis tires,
Torq axles, Trail Gear,
WFO, Rugged Radios,
FK Rod ends, RCV, Lucas
Oil, Reid Racing, with
51Fifty Energy drinks
joining this year.
