Spring Thaw: Big Rubbers Style. Wheelin Celebration in the Mts. of Pa. I am partial to this Club and this event in particular. I am one of 2 lifetime members of the club, with the other being the Land Owner of the 200 acres we lease to play on. Affectionately known as Doe Valley”, don’t let the name fool you, nothing timid about thise place. This is the 5th Year for this event, which began life as a “meet n greet” 6 years ago and then I had took the helm of Event Organizer. Back then we had tons of dirt and rock brought in to the local Mall parking lot for a one day event. We had drawn thousands of spectators each year. 3 Years ago, I took a leave from Club Duties , and those who had taken over, secured a new location, just minutes away from our 200 acre 4x4 playground and we Host the Topless Day ride the same weekend. At the time if this writing, I am just afew days away from surgery, so my Grandson Talon and I only checked out the local Football Stadium and didn’t make it out to a trail ride. The Stadium is where we set up an obstacle course, Vendors midway,Bounce House for the kids, local Jeep Dealers showing off New, “Built” Jeeps and the RTI Ramp is always a hit. I even managed to catch a few flexing their suspension and others that were sporting the magazine stickers. So here is to giving my “Home Boys n Girls” some play in the pages of this mag.
