When using a lighting system such as the Cube, does it use a lot of battery power? How much does it draw from the average car battery? LEDs are designed to produce very little heat, and draw very little current for the light output. Efficiency is key, that is why you will notice most LED lights are small, when comparing light output to other lighting options, like HID, or halogen. The CUBE light only draws 1.34 amps at 12v. That is almost nothing. It is less than most IPhone chargers. You could leave the CUBEs on all night and draw very little battery power. We have done tests leaving 4 CUBE lights on, in an XJ with a bad battery for the whole work day, and it cranked on no problem at the end of the day. Your lighting systems are a new era in off-road lighting, and the mega candle lamp powered spot lights are a thing of the past, what benefits do you get from running the Inspired Engineering lighting systems? The big advantage to running Inspired Engineering lights is efficiency. Most built rigs, regardless of the level of customization tend to have a lot of electronics. A winch, sound system, locker pumps, and much more, in the older day’s alternators would have to be upgraded, to dry cell batteries would be a necessity. Some people would even have to winch with their lights off to save power. That is not an issue anymore. These things are so efficient; they produce almost no heat, draw very little power, for the amount of light output that it’s a no brainer. It doesn’t end there either, in the case of our JK OEM replacement lights, these things are very small. They fit in OEM locations, connect to OEM connectors and are a huge improvement over stock. You do not need to have huge gaudy lights on all corners of your rig, they are much smaller now. They also create less drag than a bunch of huge old fashioned lights. At the end of the day it is a money saver. You don’t need to upgrade electrical systems, build your rig around your lights, and you have lights that are rated to work for years without being shut off. They also have a lifetime warranty. We also think the look wicked too! What events will you be at this year if our readers would like to check you out for themselves? We do not have a current schedule for attending shows this year. We are trying to sponsor and attend as many as possible. We plan to do Jeeptober Fest in Ocala FL, as well as sponsor many other events. People could check in with us to give us recommendations, or to check if we will be attending a specific show. Do you have a website our readers can go to? Or store location? Our Website is www.inspired-engineering.com. We also have a store in Miami; our address is 13800 SW 142 Ave #11, Miami FL 33186. Our phone number is (305)814-5331. Thank you Sam Hantash and crew at Inspired Engineering for sharing your new age efficient off-road lighting systems with us. I am looking forward to testing them out on Ole Blue! 16 June 2014
