I was wondering in the “ Pits ” when Eric Miller came in on 3 tires . His Pit Crew made short work of swapping on a fresh shoe and he was off and back to battling Shannon Campbell for 1st place . Shannon wasn ’ t without a mishap of his own with a massive “ rollover ”.
After the second lap , nobody could tell who was who , as all the Race cars were covered in Rausch Creek “ Coal dirt Mud ”, making the “ Blacked out look ” the fashion statement of the day . The Event Announcer made identifying the Drivers look easy and kept everyone informed on the action that was taking place in the areas where the Spectators did not has access .
