This document provides waste management guidelines for use by Pennsylvania dental offices. Steps were taken to assure that this document was current at the date of publishing. It is meant to be a guide, as many situations are case specific. Regulations governing the identification of an item as hazardous or regulated medical waste, and proper disposal, are subject to change. When in doubt, seek appropriate advice prior to waste disposal.
