The couple is relocating to New York City. The former undersecretary of state for economic, business and agricultural affairs and his wife bought a Park Avenue property in 2013 for $9 million. He is currently the CEO of the asset management firm Rockefeller & Co. The purchasers are Cara and Albert Simmonds, two physicians moving to the city from the Rockville area. The stately seven-bedroom brick residence features embassy-sized entertaining rooms, a handsome library, a gourmet kitchen opening to a private patio and a master bedroom suite that includes an attached home office.
