Today Henry travels about in a convertible, swims in a pool, watches Animal Planet and adores his family! Gypsy snoozing in Boulder “ is living a great life with us, we have taken her fishing and camping and we survived the flood here in Longmont, Co. She loves everyone and we all love her very much.” ~ Tracy The Gift of Family The most rewarding parts of working at an animal shelter are watching animals find their forever homes and helping reunite lost pets with their families. Adoptions and reclaims are many times measured in numbers. Logically, the more animals who are adopted or reunited with their families, the more successful a shelter is seen. Yet behind every adoption and reclaim number is an individual or family and behind these people are stories that warm our hearts. All of the animals pictured in this photo essay will be home for the holidays, thanks to all who support the work of the Washington County SPCA. With your continued support, we can be sure that even more pets will find loving homes in the year to come. Champ makes a great early Christmas present Champ was found online and adopted on Black Friday. He was an early Christmas present for his new mom. He got new ID tags and was immediately taken to PetSmart for new toys, etc.
