Longtime Vancouver Clinic CEO Retires
Keren Rosenblum and Mark Mantei at the 2026 Legislative Day & Hill Climb luncheon, which Vancouver Clinic co-sponsored.
Mark Mantei retired Dec. 31 after a decade leading the Vancouver Clinic, the Pacific Northwest’ s largest independent, physician-owned medical practice. Keren Rosenblum, president of the board, served as interim CEO. Katherine Henry, previously chief administrative officer at Austin Regional Clinic, has been hired as the new CEO.
“ Mark has not only been a great leader of the Vancouver Clinic, guiding it through the pandemic, but also a great friend of AWB and a strong supporter of the broader employer community. We wish him all the best in his next chapter,” AWB President Kris Johnson said.
Amelia Cook Named Winner of Enterprising Women of the Year Award
Amelia Cook, co-founder of Goodwinds Composites, a composite component manufacturer in Mount Vernon, has been named a winner of the 2026 Enterprising Women of the Year Award. Cook was honored at the annual celebration, March 8-10 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
This long-running, prestigious awards program recognizes the world’ s top women entrepreneurs. It is widely considered one of the most significant recognition programs for women business owners in the U. S. and globally.
Cook, a longtime AWB board member, spoke at AWB’ s 2025 State of Manufacturing address, participated in AWB’ s Budget Smarter campaign, and other AWB events. Goodwinds Composites was a stop on AWB’ s 2022 Manufacturing Week bus tour and a finalist for AWB’ s annual manufacturing awards.
Kevin Wallace Succeeds Father as CEO of Wallace Properties
Kevin Wallace became CEO of Wallace Properties in November, taking over the position from his father Bob Wallace, who founded the company in 1977. The Bellevue-based family real estate firm has developed more than 1,000 apartment units, with a focus on transit-oriented, mixed-use projects.
Kevin Wallace has been with the company for 12 years and has been active in many civic and policy efforts to support increased housing development. The elder Wallace now serves as company chairman.
