As the pandemic changed the landscape for businesses of all sizes , McGill has created a new way to connect with her own clientele . She calls it Corlinc University . It brings together experts and influencers to give operational lessons to the “ underserved entrepreneurs ” who could also be prospective Corlinc clients .
It was another “ aha moment ,” she said : a way to create brand awareness while giving back .
“ I realized I needed to create a platform of mentors , of coaches , who have been highly successful in categories that have been very successful with small brands ,” she said .
As Corlic moves forward with educational offerings that complement its core product , McGill said she ’ s excited to help solve problems and help small businesses succeed .
“ The idea is to keep it real , keep it friendly , keep the access easy , and get the word out ,” she said . “ People need to understand that there is an ecosystem being built to support their success .” fall / winter 2020 41
