Visionaries. Problem-solvers. Fixers. Any way you say it, AWB’s 2019 Evening of Excellence
was all about honoring the employers building a better Washington.
This year’s event was the biggest yet, with more than 220 entrepreneurs, advocates and
business leaders celebrating Washington’s private sector at Benaroya Hall in Seattle.
Ten employers were honored for their outstanding work at this festive event created by
AWB in 2016.
“This is our chance to say thank you to the extraordinary Washington employers that make
our state such a great place to live and work,” AWB President Kris Johnson said. “These
companies create good jobs, invest in our communities and serve as an inspiration for all
entrepreneurs. At AWB, we’re honored to work on their behalf, and advocate for the right
conditions so all employers can thrive.”
And it’s never too early to plan for next year. Nominations are now open for the 2020
Washington Excellence Awards, as well as the Manufacturing Excellence Awards.
