washington business AWB Donates to Camp Hope on Behalf of Spring Meeting Attendees Attendees at AWB’s virtual Spring Meeting selected Camp Hope as the recipient of a donation in their name. Rather than spending money on take-home gifts, AWB invited attendees to vote on a nonprofit to receive a donation. The attendees chose Camp Hope, a camp run by the Family Support Center of South Sound. The $2,000 donation was made on their behalf following the event. Mastin Joins AWB as Assistant VP of Government Affairs Dave Mastin, a former legislator from Walla Walla who was most recently the executive director of government relations at the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, has joined AWB as assistant vice president of government affairs, education and workforce. This position expands capacity for AWB’s government affairs team as it prepares for a challenging upcoming legislative session. Mastin will assist Vice President of Government Affairs Gary Chandler in setting legislative strategy, and also lead AWB’s education and workforce development efforts. summer 2020 7
