Wrapping up an incredible event ! @ awbolympia ’ s 2024 Spring Meeting came to a close yesterday with a captivating evening keynote . GVC President & CEO John McDonagh led the discussion with Former White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield and CNN political commentator and Managing Director for the bipartisan lobbying firm BGR Group David Urban . This discussion offered insightful perspectives on the upcoming presidential election rematch . It was an honor to host such esteemed speakers right here in # VancouverWA !

On Saturday , April 6 , the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce put on the regional National Civics Bee Competition for participating middle school students at Hal Holmes Community Center . After over 50 compelling essays written by students in Kittitas County , 20 students were chosen to move forward in the competition and participate in this live event .
With students from Easton School District and Ellensburg Christian School , the scores were neck and neck . We want to give a HUGE shout out to the teachers and schools who incorporated this program into their curriculum and worked with the students through fall and winter studying ... along with the parents for working diligently with their children at home !
