As inflation continues to hit Americans ’ wallets , gas and grocery prices aren ’ t the only costs on the rise . Prices for veterinary care have risen 10 % in the last year , causing some pet owners to feel a little concerned .
To help alleviate some of the financial pressure of pet ownership , AWB members and their employees now have access to pet insurance through MetLife and ProPoint , an insurance agency subsidiary of Forterra , AWB ’ s employer-services arm . A small monthly payment can help employees prepare for big veterinary bills down the road .
