Jeffrey Bishop, chief executive at the Port of Moses Lake, which
operates Grant County International Airport, and Moses Lake Port
Commissioner Darrin Jackson were two of the trip’s participants.
Their goal was to raise awareness of the need for infrastructure
investments, particularly in rural parts of the nation.
The group also discussed the need for policies that improve the
climate for business investment and growth, such as the tax reform
measure that was being debated while the group was in town and
stabilizing the health insurance market.
The 2018 AWB D.C. Fly-in will take place this December. For more
