AWB Adopts New Mission and Vision Statement, Strategic Plan Legislative Day & Hill Climb Connects Hundreds of AWB Members with Lawmakers The AWB board of directors unanimously approved a new strategic plan during January’s Legislative Day board meeting that includes new Mission and Vision statements, as well as five strategies for achieving them. The theme "Be Heard" rang out loud and clear Jan. 19 at the AWB Legislative Day & Hill Climb. The new strategic plan, Mission statement and Vision statement were put together by a 15-member group led by co-chairs Michael Senske and AWB Board Chair Mike Schwenk, who distilled AWB’s work into five main pillars: • Achieve • Connect • Employ • Compete • A sense of place AWB has ۙ
