Inside AWB
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a small-business owner hiring your first
full-time employee, or the manager of a corporate division of thousands.
For more than 100 years, AWB has been your voice in Washington state.
What’s Going On at AWB
Historic Debates Headline AWB Spring Meeting
For more than 20 years, AWB has played host to the top candidates for state political office; this year is
no different. On June 12, gubernatorial candidates Jay Inslee (D) and Rob McKenna (R) will meet onstage
for the first time this campaign season to debate about the issues facing Washington state in the next four
years. Northwest News Correspondent Austin Jenkins will moderate what will be AWB’s sixth gubernatorial
debate, as well as a debate between King County Councilmen Reagan Dunn (R) and Bob Ferguson (D),
candidates for Washington state attorney general. Not headed to Spokane? Catch the debates via TVW or
on a Northwest News Network radio station. AWB is pleased to bring this special 2012 election event to The
Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane in partnership with Greater Spokane, Inc. For more information about the
Spring Meeting, visit www.awbspringmeeting.com.

Coming Soon: A New Look for www.awb.org
AWB is excited to be partnering with member company SiteCrafting, Inc.
on a complete overhaul of our website. The Tacoma-based web design
and application development company is the same company behind
TVW’s recent redesign, which included a new look for the site as well as
the addition of SCOUT, an online tracking service to help citizens follow
information in the Legislature, Supreme Court and state government.
Watch for AWB’s new, improved website to go live later this fall.
The plan is full-service, low cost and tailored
to your company’s specific needs. The plan
takes care of all the paperwork, the audit
and IRS filings so participants can focus on
growing the business. To learn more about
this powerful retirement plan option, please

AWB is Washington state’s chamber of
commerce and one of just four state chambers in
the country to be “accredited with distinction”
by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
