2019 Federal Affairs Summit
Our third annual Federal Affairs Summit
was held at Discovery Hall on the campus
of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
in the Tri-Cities. Attendees heard from U.S.
Senator Maria Cantwell, U.S. Representatives
Dan Newhouse, Suzan DelBene, Derek Kilmer
and Kim Schrier, as well as several panels
discussing the most relevant
national topics to Washington
employers.
Export-Import Bank Charter
Renewal
AWB has once again led the charge in support
of renewing the Export-Import Bank charter.
The bank backed over $200 million in trade
deals for Washington employers last year.
Without it, companies across the country are
at risk of losing out on billions of dollars in
overseas deals.
Infrastructure Report
The 2019 Infrastructure Report is out, and this
year, the four associations that helped create
it have also contributed to a video companion.
