An all-weather paper trail to a healthier environment.
Rite in the Rain all-weather writing products are made to survive the harshest of
environments Mother Nature can serve up. The revered notebooks are found in
the damp pockets of Taylor Shellfish employees working on Puget Sound and in
the seasoned backpacks of mountain guides scaling the Himalayas.
“Washington is green in color and in conscience,” says Jim Kopriva, Rite in the
Rain product manager. “Like so many other Washington businesses, we work
every day to protect the environment.”

Sixteen years ago the company took the initiative to convert from solvent to
water-based inks and became emissions free. Their sustainably-sourced paper
is 100% recyclable.
Mountain guide and adventure writer Charlotte Austin is an avid fan of the earth-friendly
notebooks. “I work a lot in the mountains around the Northwest. Rite in the Rain takes care of the
environment I love.”
