Hey, What Did You Do In 2012? At CSRIA, We Worked with Our Members To: • Develop 5,000 new irrigated acres along the Snake and Columbia River system, using the CSRIA Water Conservation O&M Program. • Provide water marketing services to transfer water rights to 4,000 acres of new and existing irrigated lands. • Provide water right holders with technical and legal services to protect water rights and enhance water right change/transfer alternatives. • Support Eastern WA Water Conservancy Boards in conducting water right change/transfers for irrigators, commercial interests, port districts, and cities. • Provide project development services to secure private sector financial for new surface water delivery to the Odessa Subarea North-I-90 Project. • Work with the Office of the Columbia River, Ecology, to secure a new irrigation water right for Kennewick Hospital District-owned lands. • Assist ranchers and farmers in using the RCW stock water exemption to build new cattle/dairy facilities. • Assist nationally based food processers to secure new Columbia River water right applications, under RCW 90.80 provisions. • Provide the citizens of Eastern WA with new economic growth, and adding tax revenue to support local and state infrastructure.
