In his Wall Street Journal editorials, Rago warned about soaring costs that would
come from Obama’s health reform plan, something that’s already coming to pass.
Health insurance premiums paid by employers rose an average 9 percent in 2011,
according to a recent survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation.
The survey estimated that 1 or 2 percentage points were because of provisions
of the law already in effect, including requiring coverage for children up to age 26
and for prevention services.
