5. RiverClan Cats
Crookedstar
Crookedstar is known as the cat of perseverance. His fur is thick and light brown. He is a cat from RiverClan. When he was a kit his name was actually Stormkit and one time when he was playing by the river, he fell in and broke his jaw; because of this he spent many lots of days in the medicine den recovering. His brother Oakkit became an apprentice but Stormkit had to stay a kit because of his injury. Their mother, Rainflower favored Oakheart over StormKit; this lead to their mother changing his name to Crookedkit. A cruel reminder of his injury indeed. He then decided he would become an outcast and he ra away from his clan but later joined back and became an apprentice. In his dreams, he met a cat named Mapleshade who trained him vicious moves in his sleep. Crookedpaw thought that this was just training from a StarClan cat but this was actually revenge from a Place of No Stars cat. The Dark Forest is the opposite of StarClan because that is where all of the evil cats go when they die. Crookedpaw then earned his warrior name which was Crookedjaw and he joined Oakheart in the Warriors Den. Mapleshade then faked a sign from what RiverClan thought was StarClan forcing them to make him deputy. Mapleshade then took everything from Crookedjaw because he was kin to the cat she loved who abandoned her kits and her. Even his own mate Willowbreeze and 2 of his 3 kits died. Once his leader died he succeeded him but he had lost his 9 lives before the Great Journey.
Oakheart
Oakheart is known as the cat of bravery who would do anything for his clan but at times was a little stubborn. He is from RiverClan; therefore his pelt is thick and reddish-brown. When he was 1 moon old his brother fell in the river and broke his jaw. Their mother never felt the same for his brother. His brother was then given a new name, Crookedkit. Oakkit then became an apprentice but his brother stayed a kit because of his injuries. Oakpaw was reminded that his mother favored him over his brother during his Warrior Ceremony. His mother talked about how Crookedkit would never be as good as Oakheart. A little while later he fell in love with a she-cat from ThunderClan and they had 3 kits. Oakheart never really understood why Bluefur his mate, gave her the kits but took them willingly. Mosskit died of Hypothermia the night Bluefur gave Oakheart their kits. Mistykit and Stonekit were his living 2. He never became leader but he did become deputy. He died because of a rock falling on him in a battle against ThunderClan for Sunningrocks.
