Exceptions
1. Cats on their way to the Moonstone or Moonpool are allowed to cross other Clans' territories to get to their destination
2. At the lake, cats may travel on other Clans' grounds as long as they are within two fox-lengths of the lake; for instance, to go to a Gathering.
3. Cats may travel on other Clan territories if they have something to report or ask for help.
4. The code is flexible about leadership challenges. Cats may challenge a weak or cruel leader if their Clan is in danger, and if their leadership threatens the Clan.
Rejected Codes
1. Only pure-blood cats should be allowed to be in clans.
2. Each clan may only eat the prey that is meant for them. (Example - Riverclan eats mainly fish or Thunderclan eats mostly mice)
All Clan cats must acknowledge that StarClan controls Clan life
Punishments
When a cat breaks the Warrior Code they are usually just given mild tasks that no cat enjoys. For example a warrior might be given apprentice duties such as sleeping in their den or finding moss for elders. This happened to Firestar when he gave food to an outcast rather than feeding his clan. A slightly less than severe punishment would include getting exiled for 1 moon. Leafstar did this to two cats when they were goofing off and not following the code. A severe punishment would include getting totally kicked out of the clan or you can not do that job anymore. For example Leafpool was exiled from being a medicine cat because she mated which is against the code for a medicine cat. But if that is not breaking the code enough, she mated with a cat from another clan which is against the code even for just a Warrior. Cats who murder with unjust intentions will go to The Dark Forest which is the exact opposite of StarClan.
