Originally from Johannesburg , Cherene moved to Bangkok in 2014 . She has acted in “ Up Pompeii ” with Bangkok Community Theater and in the “ Vagina Monologues ” with Culture Collective . Of amateur theater , she says , “ I love the camaraderie … and the adrenaline rush of doing something I ’ ve dreamed of since childhood — without the competitiveness and stress of being a full-time actress .”
� VINEET
Vineet is a brand director at Procter & Gamble by day and a theatre and performance enthusiast by night . He moved from Singapore to Bangkok on a work assignment three years ago . His love for theatre started in India , where he was born and raised . “ Acting is a great way to blow off some steam after work , and you live vicariously through the characters you play ,” he says . “ It ensures that there is never a dull moment in life .”
� PEEVARA
Peevara is a producer , director and actor born in Thailand and currently in London earning his Masters degree in Creative Producing . He is determined to bring accessible plays and musicals to both Thailand and UK . Favorite theater credits in Bangkok include “ Love Game ” the musical with Musical Musicals and “ Stick Figures ” at Thonglor Art Space .
� JASON
In Bangkok since 2012 , Jason was born in Naranjito , Puerto Rico . He works steadily in film and on television , and is currently writing a new television series . But he loves doing powerful plays like “ 12 Angry Men ,” which he appeared in for Culture Collective . “ I love the character development phase ,” he says , “ and building a deep relationship with the rest of the cast .”
