They skate faster and get better each time. YOU ARE ENOUGH What do I love about roller derby? I love the sweat, the noise and the rough and tumble; the skating, high spirits and hard graft; rules and tactics and teamwork. I love the way, after the final whistle of a bout, enemy teams high five, slap each other on the back, laugh together, cry together, all in the spirit of gratitude and a fierce shared bond: we are roller derby. That's the thing about roller derby. It's not just a sport, not just a way to get fit or learn a new skill. It's a community.
