Kids & Education Creative Kids, Vol. 1 ART CENTERS: APPROACHING ART FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE How setting up a child-focused visual arts center in your home can help disprove the old misconception that artistic skill is a genetic trait. by Shannon Frandsen and Amy Diener H ave you ever heard someone say, “I’m just not artistic”? Or maybe something like: “You’re so good at art. I could never make a painting like that.” You probably have, dozens or even hundreds of times.
