DAY 1 | ARRIVE AT NEOC
MORNING | Arrive at the New England Outdoor Center and get settled into one of their cozy cabins.
AFTERNOON | Explore the resort. Borrow a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard and take in views of Katahdin from Millinocket Lake.
EVENING | Enjoy dinner at Knife Edge Brewing. Nosh on a wood-fired pizza and enjoy a locally crafted beer.
DAY 2 | DAY OF ADVENTURE
MORNING | Choose your adventure
Whitewater Rafting: Start the day with breakfast in your cabin, then head out on a Penobscot River whitewater rafting trip. Options range from familyfriendly floats to thrilling rapids. Enjoy lunch on the river with your guide.
Hiking:
Rainbow Loop: A 6-mile loop with stunning views of Katahdin, Rainbow Lake, and part of the 100- Mile Wilderness.
Trout Mountain: A 5.4-mile roundtrip hike featuring a steel fire tower with panoramic views.
Debsconeag Ice Caves Trail: An easy 1-mile outand-back hike featuring unique caves to explore( see page 5).
