A look into the past
‘Yesteryears’ expands its vintage bounty in Pine Bush

ou could say Pine Bush is extending
its look into the past.
Yesteryears at 91 Main St., featuring a bounty of beautiful Americana,
vintage and hand-crafted items, recently
expanded its business into the store next
door. On Thursday, Oct. 8, owner April
Bergmann cut the ribbon with the help
of a crowd of friends, well-wishers and
Pine Bush Chamber of Commerce colleagues.
The ribbon-cutting also showcased
the bronze model of sculptor Richard
Masloski’s award-winning Headless
Horseman bronze statue, and the
unveiling of Masloski’s model for a
monument to Edgar Allan Poe. The
Headless Horseman sculpture lives – in
its life-size form – at the Sleepy Hollow
Country Club, and has been featured on
the club’s golf trophy. Other bronzes are
being featured at Yesteryears throughout
October as well: a finely-detailed model
of Mark Twain, and an exquisite model
of Rip Van Winkle, which also has a
larger-than-life twin on Main Street in
Irvington, N.Y.
