Maybrook man charged with sexual assault of five-year-old
An investigation into an alleged sexual
assault on a five-year-old child has led
to multiple criminal charges against a
Maybrook man.
Gilberto Loza Jr., 27, of Maybrook
was arrested on July 20 by Town of
Montgomery Police. As with most sexual
assault, police said, the suspect was
known to his victim.
Loza was charged with predatory
sexual assault against a child, course of
sexual conduct against a child 1st degree,
criminal sex act 1st and forcible touching.
During the course of the investigation,
Town police said they were able to
uncover information regarding past
domestic incidents involving Loza and
