Maybrook Police
Jeremy D . Johnson , 45 , of Maybrook , was charged July 4 with disorderly conduct , obstruction of governmental administration 2nd , driving while intoxicated , refusal to submit to a chemical test , aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd , suspended registration , reckless driving and failure to exercise due care . He was given appearance tickets on charges and is due back in Maybrook court on August 9 .
Walden Police
Nicole Sola , 30 , of Highland , was charged July 6 with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd . She is scheduled to appear in village court on July 27 .
Joseph Rawlins , 30 , of Walden , was arrested July 7 on a bench warrant out of the Village of Walden Court and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle 3rd . He was remanded to Orange County Jail and will appear in village court on July 13 .
Douglas Hall , 56 , of Walden , was arrested July 8 on an arrest warrant out of Mamakating . He was turned over to the Sullivan County Sheriff ’ s Department .
An 18 year old male of Walden was charged July 10 with petit larceny . He is scheduled to appear in village court on August 10 .
Laura Thoby , 37 , of Greentown , was charged July 10 with misapplication of property . She is scheduled to appear in village court on August 24 .
Town of Wallkill Police
On Tuesday , June 28 , members of the Town of Wallkill Police Department and Building Department , along with Investigators Martin Rafferty and Christopher DelPozzo of the New York State Liquor Authority , conducted an initiative to identify retail businesses and restaurants that illegally sell alcohol to minors . The following individuals were arrested : Gagan Singh , 21 , Town of Wallkill , at the Valero
Gas Station , 28 Carpenter Avenue . Ahalawattage Harischandra , 53 , Middletown , at the 211 Discount Smoke Shop , 779 Route 211 East .
Each of the defendants was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child and issued an appearance ticket to appear at the Town of Wallkill Court at 9:00 a . m . on July 20 , 2016 .
Both the Valero Gas Station and the 211 Discount Smoke Shop were cited for Building Code violations .
State Police at Middletown
The New York State Police at Middletown report the arrest of Joseph Dearinger , 36 , of Middletown , for Burglary in the third degree . Dearinger was arrested on July 7 , after an investigation into the burglary of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the Town of Wallkill in October 2015 . Fingerprints recovered at the scene were later matched to Dearinger by the New York State Police crime lab in Albany . Dearinger was arraigned in the Town of Wallkill Court before Town Justice Joe Owen and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $ 30,000 cash or $ 120,000 .
