Wallkill volunteers help beautify the hamlet

ommunities can achieve great things
when everyone chips in and does
their part. A group of volunteers
put forth their time and effort Saturday
morning to help beautify Wallkill as part
of the sixth annual Clean Sweep event.
At least three dozen people showed up
for the cleanup session, with a half dozen
kayaks patrolling the Wallkill River with
participants scooping litter o
