yesterday was also well filled ! We ain ’ t complaining , just stating facts . Bring em on !
Just when I thought the youth were showing out here came 23 — yep 23 – All Day Pleasure Western Amateur riders . Yipeee ! Loving these big classes loaded with talent . The paddock staff , Allie and Kelly are doing a tremendous job of getting the horses in one by one , thus giving center ring a chance to count the many entries AND the audience to see each horse showcased as the first horse in goes all the way around the ring . They don ’ t stop and bunch up . So proud of these riders showing their horses .
The classes have been filled to
capacity with really , really talented walking horses . So far 1268 entries have tried their skills against each other . No too dang shabby for the first few days of the show . Keep em coming ! We are loving it !!
DAY 5
4 H day is usually crammed full of children from all surrounding states . This year due to other 4H Shows the entries were lighter than usual but the participants were just as talented as in the past .
The exhibitors rode hard in anticipation of winning a very handy tote bag , tumbler and tail sack that went to the first place winners . Once again Victoria Kalosis made
an extra item to be given to the 4 H winners , this year it was very useful tail bags with the show and date on it . The morning session ended with a delicious lunch provided by the Rowdy Ranch crew . The menu was Mexican and the chicken concoction was the best ever !!!! The crew went back to the motel with with tummy ’ s full to obtain some much needed rest before a LONG night .
Proudly carrying our nation ’ s flag to open the evening performance was the multi International Champion , Regional 4 4 H Champion , and PWHAT Champion , Jose Leave A Mark with talented owner / rider / trainer Cheyanne Gardner up . Jennifer Barr again graced us with a
