2020 WHOA Aw Ann Johnson- Adult Sportsmanship Winner with Sis Osborne Tommy Hall with Detha Broom and Tim Smith Tommy Hall and Emma Wood 12 • Walking On The Walking Horse Owners Association Awards Banquet was held Saturday, February 7 2020 at the James Union Building on the Middle Tennessee State University campus. The attendance was awesome in spite of a raging flu epidemic in Middle Tennessee.   Two hundred sixty five turned in reservations and I really believe that all of them were present to receive their awards. The number of 265 did not include WHOA staff which were kept busy with awards, the silent auction, and 50/50 tickets. (Did you see Brandon Crawford & ME doing the “happy dance”?) The atmo- sphere was a cheerful and expectant one that did not disappoint those seeking a merry time. The Kentucky Awards were presented first, following by the Register Of Merit Awards and the Versatility awards. The Overall High Point Versatility Horse was earned by Belle Of Rocky Hill with Linda Starnes riding for the Larry Starnes family of Brownsville, Kentucky. These awards were presented prior to a delicious dinner. After the dinner break the National High Points awards were announced.  WHOA presents several awards that are not related to the winnings of a horse. Following are awards that are not particularly horse related are the High Point Awards that one must have shown and shown and shown some more to come out on top of the best walk- ing horses exhibited. Congratulations to all!!!!
