An American Tradition generously donated by the Chip
Carrier family. Each and every 4 H exhibitor received a
TWH Book and they were absolutely thrilled to know
everyone would get such an impressive award.
Victoria Kalosis, for the 2nd year in a row, donated
gift sacks to the first place winners in the 4 H Classes.
These gift sacks were a much sought after addition to
the regular awards. Thank you to the Chip Carrier fam-
ily and Victoria for the extra gifts for the youth. They
were much appreciated.
The 4 H Day is a long and tiring day but very gratify-
ing to the WHOA Staff. These youth from everywhere
are soooo excited to show in The Miller Coliseum. I
know Mr. John Miller, who loved children, was smiling
and enjoying the delight of the 4 H Youth. The young-
sters just appreciate everything, making us feel all warm
and fuzzy.
Tuesday evening started off with a class of young
walking Country Pleasure Horses. The talent displayed
was awesome, almost as good Jennifer Barr’s vocal
performance. Jennifer is a multi talented individual who
takes fabulous pictures, cooks like the best chef, runs her
self to death to please all the exhibitors and does all this
with a big ole smile!
The TWHBEA Medallion CANTER Class was a
unanimous win for Gavin Applewhite who showed
Wolf ’s Dirty Money to perfection. A very emotional
mom, Morgan Applewhite was shedding happy tears at
the judge’s decision.
Another ecstatic show of emotion was Grandfather
Charles Gleghorn when granddaughter,McKenna
Dempsey won the Amateur Trail Pleasure Three Year
Olds, another popular placement, with Front Nine.
The ever popular Wayne Westbrook brought the
house down as she rode the fenders off Paranoia to
claim the blue in the Three Year Old English Amateur.
Snap Chat carried expert rider Patty Pollack to sever-
al blues with Classic Country Pleasure Amateur starting
the winning.
Mrs. Anne Johnson and Annie’s Silver Dream were
happy Country Pleasure Three Year Old Amateur
champions. Brady Bachert added a blue to Mrs. Ann’s
International Collection with his awesome ride aboard
the head shaking little gray mare
The killer day was almost over as 336 entries showed
up on Tuesday to vie for the honors of earning an
International blue. A total of 1064 had shown thus far.
