Not to be out done by the lovely equine ladies, 11
Geldings strolled into the ring next. Lynn MacGregor
was beautiful in presentation of the blue ribbon winner
Are we stuck on the number 11? As 11 Novice
Horse/Handlers entered the ring for class 3 of the
morning. No longer a novice is Blake Williams and She’s
Jazz On The Rocks, after they claim the blue in Novice
Handlers Class.
In Hand boy horses entered the ring next and showed
the masculine beauty of the breed. TWH are gorgeous!
Robert Nelms successfully handled Back In The Saddle
to the win in this tough class for Lisa Teal.
EIGHTEEN YOUTH RIDERS showed up in the All
Day Pleasure Class giving the Judges a hard time as all
entries were exceptional. Raleigh Gardner on The Fash-
ion Statement was all smiles as they exited the ring with
the blue to the cheers of crowd.
FOURTEEN youth handlers showed up to compete
for the title of Model Youth. He’s Armed And Charmed
claimed the blue with his beauty. Young Rylee Elterman
of Union KY claimed her 2nd blue of the International
when she charmed the judges with her presentation of
this pretty gelding.
One of the prettiest combinations shown on “beauty
day” was Gold Rush MCF and Jean Brannon as they out
prettied the competition in Model Amateur. Wowser!!!
Back In The Saddle Again claimed the Model Cham-
pionship with Robert Nelms at the lead for Lisa Teel.
The Monday evening session began with the talented
Jennifer Barr singing our National Anthem. It was a
lovely rendition. This lady is multi talented.
The All day Pleasure Driving started the rail classes
with Wayne Barnes and Remey Martin driving to the
blue. All grown up and still the cutest thing around ,
granddaughter Haley hopped right up there in the bug-
gy and joined grandfather, Wayne for the victory drive.
Weanling fillies walked their way in next with Rob-
ert Nelms at the lead of the good moving Dixie’s Daisy
Duke for Gus Richards. This class was extra nice filled
with extra nice fillies. The weanlings not only possessed
good looks but their natural walking abilities were out-
standing.
Powered out, my IPad went night night and I was
beginning to want some night time my own self butttt
we rolled on. Actually we were in bed by 11!
Tuesday is “our” 4 H Day!!!!! Once again we were
pleased and proud of the 4 H Members and their display
of the walking horse. Most classes sported over 10 en-
tries. Love those double digit classes! In addition to the
