41st International
Judges Announced
The Walking Horse Owners’ is pleased to announce
the four judges elected by current 2019 WHOA mem-
bers for the 41st Annual International Pleasure & Colt
Championship:
Linda Arnold of Gig Harbor, Washington
Gary Feltner of Cedar Creek, Texas
Kevin Gilliam of Oxford, North Carolina
Danielle Johnson of Cookeville, Tennessee
The dates for the event are July 26-August 3, at the
Tennessee Miller Coliseum located in Murfreesboro,
Tennessee. For reservations or class schedule please click

International Dressage
Judges Announced
Judges for both International Dressage Days have been
announced!! Traditional Dressage will be judged by Grace
Gregory of Tennessee. Western Dressage will be judged
by Cindy Butler of Illinois. WHOA is excited to be able to
offer two full days for our Dressage riders! As reminder
there are levels for everyone to compete in! Come try it
out if you haven’t already! And remember the Miller is air
conditioned! See you in July!
Electronic Scoring
At Select Shows
WHOA would like to announce the new addition of
ELECTRONIC SCORING at select shows. The first use
of this new system will occur during the WHOA Pleasure
Jamboree June 21-22 at The Miller Coliseum. This will al-
low for the kinks to be worked out before implementation
at the 41st International Grand Championships. WHOA
would like to extend a huge “thank you” to the generos-
ity of Mr. Frank Neal who purchased the hardware and
software for this to become a reality.

Division Cross Over
Rules Reviewed
WHOA Rule Clarification: If a WHOA affiliated show
offers classes for Classic Country Pleasure and Classic
Trail Pleasure a Horse cannot cross over and show in
Country Pleasure and/or Trail Pleasure at the same show.
Clarification for crossing over Division rules may be
found on the WHOA website under FORMS/RULE-
BOOK. Review the WHOA Flat Shod Rule for crossing
over Divisions beginning on pages 31-35.
Franklin, Kentucky
KEEPS Shows Moved
WHOA has been informed that the planned shows in
Franklin, KY for Sunday, July 7 and the Championship
show October 12 are not available 2019.
Those three dates will be held at the Brownsville Fair-
grounds location on Highway 259 South in Brownsville
KY 37124.
Remembering an Ambassador
Breed Ambasssador, Breyer Horse Model, and
multi-titled World and International Grand Champi-
on Bluegrass Bandit passed away May 23, 2019. The
WHOA family would like to extend their deepest
sympathies to everyone touched by this great mare.
Bandit was owned and loved by Chip, Bonny, and Jar-
ed Carrier. She is survived by her dam, Finale’s Back-
door Bandit and her brother,
Silver’s Spinal Tap.
