WHOA Versatility Show June 16, 2019 • Brownsville, Tennessee After a very successful horse show on Saturday the T & S Company left early Sunday for Brownsville KY. With very little traffic we arrived at the show ground early and started doubting the success of the show what with it being Father’s Day + the weather forecast was NOT conducive to a good show. Imagine our delight when trailer after trailer filled with horses spilled onto the picturesque Brownsville Saddle Club Show grounds.  After being rained out TWICE Mother Nature gave us a break and although cloudy the rain held off and the breeze felt good. Our honorable judge, Dean Craw- ford handled the large classes with expertise and promptness. Sixteen (Yep I typed 16) entries challenged each other for the blue in the Trail Class with the winner being Belle of Rocky Hill, a Starnes owned and trained entry ready to claim her place in the trail fame domicile. Every class had at least one entry. THANK YOU to all who came out and shared Father’s Day with WHOA. One hundred eighty six entries were the total AND this is without the usual versatility classes.  WHOA rocked the week end of June 15 and 16  If you missed either show you missed a good one. I was shocked ( pleasantly) by the number of youth entries on Saturday. Welllll Sunday proved just as shocking with 8 youth riders in the 4 H Class and 14!!!!!!! In the Youth Flat Shod.  Yipeeeee! Come on out youth and make those “mature” folks work for their rib- bons. – Sis Osborne New comers to the WHOA show circuit, Brenda and Louis Highfield. The long haul from Lancast- er OH was worth with the trip. Troubles Touch Of Gold and Steve Ponder proved to be too much trouble for the other entries as they bested a large field of nice horses. J and T Stables had a terrific day. Young Taylor Harvey won four firsts with Ample Cash Down. Pretty, Tammy Sapp aboard an equally pretty, Grady. Wolf just out prettied the competition to Winn the Lite Shod Class. 20 • Walking On The Starnes family was proud of their four legged addition Blues Traveler. Dan was on Victory Trip while Linda congratulated Larry on his handling . Amiahya Woosley. Newest arrival at the Woosley establishment is pushing Jamison and Trevor for the race in blue ribbons!!!! Fourteen good moving entries made the selection tough for Judge, Dean Crawford.
