WHOA Versatility Show
May 25, 2019 • Murfreesboro, Tennessee
WHOA hosted a hot, a sizzing
hot show at the beautiful Thorsport
facility May 25th. A huge THANK
YOU to the Thorson family who
went out of their way to make sure
everyone had any and everything
that was needed. The facilities are
gorgeous and the hosts amazing.
The screened gazebo was a blessing
for Tommy and the entire center
ring crew with the fan circulating
the summer breeze, the cooler of
water ready to quench our thirst
and the mints if Tommy’s throat got
dry announcing. Not only did the
Thorsons provide the officials with
everything they needed but drinks
were iced down outside the main
barn for all who attended. Breakfast
treats were on hand for the early
arrivals, ham, honey ham and turkey
roll ups were provided as lunch
with pizza ( really good pizza) as a
afternoon snack. Thank you to the
Thorsons and especially Allison.
Each blue ribbon winner was
given a TENDA product. These
TENDA products are Allison’s
business venture. There was Tenda
Heal which is a spray. I snitched a

spray and I sprayed it on a booboo
on my shoulder. MUCH better the
next morning. There was Tenda
Shampoo which smelled very good
and a Tenda Performance Poultice.
Everyone was enthusiastic about ob-
taining one of these Tenda Products.
See Allison for more information on
these interesting products.
This year the show was again
on Saturday to accommodate the
host’s race car schedule. This change
was very popular with the exhibi-
tors. As I presented ribbons I polled
the riders on how they liked the date
change and all said they were in fa-

vor of the date switch It was good to
see several different exhibitors trying
different events from their norm.
WHOA certainly appreciates the
trainers, and exhibitors bringing
good walking horses for us to enjoy.
Once again we had new comers to
the WHOA Show Circuit exhibiting.
We welcome you and hope you will
continue to show with WHOA. It
was a pleasure to see Indiana’s Mike
Castonia in the show ring in his
usual blue ribbon form. It has been
a few years since I have seen Mike
and it was good to visit.
WHOA would like to express
their appreciation to the Thorsons
for the use of this terrific facility and
their incredible hospitality to all.
We also want everyone who
brought a horse to this good show to
know we appreciate you as well. We
can’t have a show without horses and
it is such a delight to be able to view
the good ones we saw at THOR-
SPORT! THANKS to all! My per-
sonal thanks to Amanda Newberry
for her help while I was taking pic-
tures and was occupied elsewhere.
