39th Annual International Pleasure & Colt Grand Championship Miller Coliseum • Murfreesboro, Tennessee July 21 -29, 2017 Judges: Jason Bachert, Kevin Gilliam, Dee Dee Miller, Bobby Richards Joni Abney - Dressage, TWH Over Fences, Hunter Hack ~coverage by Sis Osborne~ Day 1 The 39th International started with a day flat filled with really nice  walking horses performing numerous Dressage tests. It was a wonderful day! The ring was a much larger ring than WHOA had been using. The Scot MacGregor crew is responsible for this terrific addition. Excellent riders made the tests look easy. Judge, Joni Abney did a capable and thorough job. Scot MacGregor had a fantastic day earning 7 blue ribbons! The entries were up from last year which is fantastic! 60 very nice entries competed in this endeavor. We hope next year will be just as successful. Day 2 The second day of the 39th International was all about the Tennessee Walking Horse being smooth AND versatile! Folks, if you want to see versatile walking horses then you need look no further than this great show. WOW! Class followed class with the best versatile Tennessee Walking Horses in the breed. The International is pleased to be the host of such excellent versatile walking horses. WE appreciate so very much your showing at the International. Of course, we also appreciate our hard working volunteers. Special thanks to Scott Keen for his help is setting up trail courses this year. A SHORT break was followed by colts and fun classes as well as very competitive speed events. A young 26 year old mare, Cindy’s Fancy Shadow and owner Hallie Pollard, who is just as cute as ever turned in blistering time claiming the title in barrels.
