Walking For The Future

Held at the beautiful Great
Smoky Mountian Expo Center, the
2017 Walking for the Future show
was a tremendous success. The
show featured a two-day sched-
ule chock full of a wide variety of
classes for the flat-shod Tennessee
Walking Horse. In addition to the
competitive classes, the event also
included a clinic with renowned
trainer Bobby Richards. It is safe
to say this year’s Walking for the
Future show fulfilled its mission
statement - to promote the flat
shod Tennessee Walking Horse by
providing a venue for people to
show their horses in a family ori-
ented friendly environment where
there is fair and equal treatment to
exhibitors, where no harm is done
to the horse or the reputation of the
breed, and there is total complience
with all laws and regulations.
