A beautiful day made the perfect setting for a horse show at the Edmonson County Saddle Club grounds in
Brownsville Kentucky. Quality horses showed all day with 200 entries making the gate call for Judge Scot MacGregor.
Big classes of weanling and yearlings made the promise of the future very bright. Increasing the promise of a
bright future was the quality and quanity of entries in our youth rider classes. The 4 H Class had seven good youth
riders with Twist Of Jose and Riley Gregory taking the coveted blue ribbon. Additionally, this year WHOA added a Walk Only class for young riders which has allowed some of our very young, inexperienced kids to compete
for the first time in the show ring. In this class the exhibitor may have an assistant walk beside them or they may
choose to ride without an assistant. The exhibitor is asked to perform a walk of their choice (dog walk, trail walk, or
flat walk) both ways of the ring and ride to the line up. It is a beginners class that is doing well. MacKenzie Stillweel
on Heat Of The Night claimed the blue in this class with Isaac Robey aboard Super Cell coming in reserve and
Blake Johnson up on Wicked Times third. All did a great job
It was a beautiful day for a horse show and a great horse show.
