2016 International Pleasure & Colt Grand Championship Day 6 - THURSDAY So far the International  has had 1,339 entries appear in the 157 classes. Woke up late, sleeping in after a long day and night to a slow steady rain with no classes in the morning so just lazed around thinking of the excellent horses that had showed so far. Looking forward to seeing many more tonight. Day 7 - FRIDAY WHOA hosted a “ Meet and Greet”  where any one could come ride a TWH. While light in numbers this year, the ones riding were having a blast. The Kona Ice truck pulled in center ring and gave free cups of Kona Ice to any and all! Manna Pro provided this delicious treat along with handing out free equine fly products, leather wipes, and ointments. Thank you Manna Pro and the Jason Bachert family! Three fourths of the way thru the evening show, during a horrendous storm, with  a ring full of  horses (that were thankfully in the line up) the lights went out in Georgia AND the Miller. This is the second time for me to be in the center ring of the Miller when the lights went out but this time the generator kicked in and they started to slowly come back on within moments so there was not a long delay. One of the high lights of the evening show was when Miss Minnie Mac strutted her stuff in the All Day Pleasure Novice Horse Novice Rider Championship to win the floral horse shoe! A well deserved win for Jodi and Gary Bubar. Both were thrilled to death as was the center ring staff and audience.  16 • Walking On
