Walking At Harlinsdale A Franklin, Tennessee, city park since 2007, historic Harlinsdale Farm saw the return of equestrian activities on April 2, 2016, when a grand opening event was held for the new Tractor Supply Co. Arena. A beautiful space that includes, in addition to the 150’ x 300’ arena, terraced seating, a scoring pavilion, and a warm ring, the arena will no doubt be a popular venue for equine events for years to come. The grand opening event, which was attended by Mr. Bill Harlin and his daughter Camille, WHOA President Dee Dee Miller, Executive Director Tommy Hall, and numerous local dignaties, featured several exhibitions as well as an open breed horse show that included a number of fun classes. The festivities were open to the public and attracted families and horse enthusiats from throughout the region. Of course, no event at the home of Midnight Sun would be complete without the presence of Tennessee Walking Horses. In a very well received demonstration, Bobby Richards exhibited Rowdy Revenge in English attire while Kevin Marker made the rounds aboard Side Lined in western attire. Rowdy Revenge is owned, most appropriately, by Bill Harlin and Side Lined is owned by Rhonda Martocci. Both horses did our breed proud as they showed their stuff at one of the most historically significant sites in our industry. –Sarah Gee ©HEIDI ROCKHOLD ©HEIDI ROCKHOLD 9
