WHOA Booth a Popular Stop at Novi Equestrian Expo
Once again , the Walking Horse Owners ’ Association ( WHOA ) set up a booth at the Novi Equestrian Expo in Novi , Michigan . One of the most popular equine events in the region , the Expo , which was held December 2-4 , attracted thousands of visitors from around Michigan and the surrounding states . Among those visitors were plenty of Tennesse Walking Horse enthusiasts who where very happy to peruse the booth , which featured a full compliment of literature , numerous give-a-ways , and t-shirts and hoodies that they could purchase .

Reminders and Notices
1 . A reminder to all the ROM participants that the ROM Awards will be given at the WHOA Annual Banquet . If you can not attend the Certificates will be mailed to you at a later date . The Banquet is a great time to visit with old friends and meet new ones so please TRY to attend this yearly function , I for one , really enjoy seeing my buddies from across our wonderful walking horse world . You may contact the WHOA Office 615- 494-8822 for details concerning date , time , location , etc .
4 • Walking On
2 . For our WHOA Horse Show Exhibitors a reminder that a collared shirt is a requirement . It can be sleeveless but must have a collar .
3 . It is also a rule that IF you show in western attire one hand must be used in trail unless showing in a snaffle bit on a horse 5 and under .
4 . It would be of interest to the WHOA members to learn what our ROM participants have accomplished during the year . I will gladly write about these accomplishments IF you will provide me
with the information + a CLEAR picture of your horse ( it is OK if you are in the picture also ) via email so that I might include it in this magazine .
5 . If you have something you would like for me to write PLEASE let me know again using the email with all the penitent facts listed . We want the membership to be informed but can not do this without your help .
