WHOA Attends Equine Affaire, Ohio
One of the largest horse fairs in the nation, Equine
Affaire, held in Columbus, Ohio, attracts thousands of
horse enthusiasts each year. This year, for the first time,
the Walking Horse Owners’ Association (WHOA) set
up at the event to help spread the word about our great
breed, the Tennessee Walking Horse, and about the
benefits of being a WHOA member.
WHOA’s booth, located in the Breed Pavilion,
featured a beautiful new display, video provided by
clinician Gary Lane, and plenty of literature and give-
aways. Needless to say, it was popular stop among both
walking horse enthusiasts and general horse lovers.
On hand to talk with visitors to the event, which
took place April 9-12, were WHOA President Dee Dee
Miller-Sale, Executive Director Tommy Hall, Board
Member David Pruett, and Sarah Gee. Additionally,
clinician Gary Lane helped promote the associaiton
and breed via his informative and entertaining clinics
throughtout the weekend.
Thank You!
The Walking Horse Owners’ Associaiton (WHOA) would like to thank the horse and rider teams that represented the
Tennessee Walking Horse in breed demonstrations at Equine Affaire. Each team did an excellent job displaying the traits
that make our breed so special.
