Synod 2024 ( 25 – 30 August ) was exceptionally important and full of events because of the celebration of 850 years of the Waldensian Movement that are carrying on until the end of the year all over Italy and abroad . On Saturday 24th there was the ‘ Examination of Faith ’ for the two ordinands , Maliq Meda and Kassim Conteh ( pictured greeting well-wishers from a window of Casa valdese ). In the afternoon
