Alex Anderson ( Dr . Pomatter ) Alex is grateful to return to TCR ' s stage after a long hiatus . You may have seen him in The Last Five Years , Next to Normal , or The Wild Party . Alex spends his days as a tame Jack McCoy and his free time trying to keep up with his wife and daughters . Alex sends his love to Hannah , Margot , and Frances . Thanks to friends and family , Braewood Barons , LCAO , Forrest Bump , and you for being here .
Colette Davis ( Lulu ) Colette is excited to be back on TCR ’ s big stage as Lulu . Past musical roles include Gretl in Sound of Music ( TCR ), a Pirate Minion Brigade member in SpongeBob ( TCR ), and a Froglet in HONK ! ( Revival Theatre ). She would like to thank her family for all the support and the cast and crew at TCR for making her feel part of the theater family .
Meredith Diebold ( Ensemble / Jenna Understudy ) Meredith is thrilled to be back on the TCR stage for the Regional Premiere of Waitress ! As a lifelong Sara Bareilles lover , this is a dream come true . It has been over 10 years since performing with TCR , previously cast as “ Mitchie ” in Camp Rock , and “ Molly ” in 13 . Meredith is a local music educator , pursuing her Master ’ s this fall at the University of Iowa . She would like to thank her parents , family , and friends for their support on every step of her journey . ( A special thank you to George and Marie Chaloub for her first waitressing job at Oscar ’ s back in 2013 , and to her first favorite regular , Joe .)
Lauren Fenwick ( Becky ) Lauren is thrilled to make her debut on the TCR stage as Becky in Waitress ! She is currently studying Vocal Music Education at Coe College just down the street from Theatre Cedar Rapids , going into her senior year ! Originally from Council Bluffs , Iowa , she has always been involved in the theatre community and was itching to get involved on the east side of the state ! She recently worked in Tosca as a community chorus member , exploring this character has been such a treat for her . The honesty of the role in the show will be a heartwarming experience that will make you laugh , cry and maybe even snort ! Please sit back , relax , and dive into this story with us ... you will NOT be disappointed .
Katelyn Halverson ( Ensemble ) Waitress is Katelyn ’ s third show with TCR . She previously played Portia in Something Rotten ! and Ali in Mamma Mia ! She has also done several productions in the Iowa City area . You may have seen her as Wendla in City Circle ’ s Spring Awakening or as Elle in City Circle ’ s Legally Blonde . Katelyn
