We started harvesting on Friday 14th March which is the earliest start since 1996.
By all accounts this will be an interesting vintage for Marlborough and NZ in general. Whilst there is widespread optimism at the growth in bottled sales a bigger than expected vintage this year could place pressure on a number of wineries.
Time will tell, we are more concerned about looking after ourselves, and in line with growth in our existing markets, we have expanded our tank space and harvesting processing capabilities with some large capital purchases.
