November is National Novel Writing Month! During the month of November, writers all over the world have one goal: to write 50,000 words. If you're intimidated by the number, think of it as writing only 1,667 words a day. Every day. For a month.

NaNo is all about consistency, and at the end of it, you'll have a novel (or at least the makings of one!).

We had our very first Poetry in the Park back in June, and it was a huge success. If it's nice, do it twice, right?

We will be having our second PiP in early or mid-December as we close off the year and reflect on the whirlwind that was 2018. However, even as we intend for PiP to be a regular event, we do not want it to become boring or predictable... so we're switching up the venue!

Where do you think we should have the next PiP? Let us know via email or Facebook (links on front cover).

Remember how we took some time to reflect on and improve our preparations for the annual Poetry+ extravaganza that is Voices?

Well we're back! The Voices Committee is proud to release the theme for Voices VII... Metamorphosis!

We've cried, dared to change, risen and roared! We've overcome and exceeded expectations time and time again! Now, we shall transform, evolve, and grow as we work to bring you something beautiful and entirely new.

Auditions will be held on January 5th and 12th. The time and venue will be released at a later date. For more information, follow the official Voices Facebook page.
