District
Focus
n Tuesday, November 5th, teachers and staff
members of the W-E school district received multiple opportunities for Professional Development
options in many student-centered areas. I really
enjoyed walking through the sessions on the Professional Development Day and seeing the enthusiasm of both the presenters and the attendees. We
are lucky to have so many talented staff members
who were willing to spend their own time preparing and presenting in-service trainings. Some of
the PD options included:
Safety Screening Training
Strengthening Compliant, Results- Driven IEPS
Text Book Training
De-escalation Techniques
Differentiating Instruction
SLOs - Setting Growth Targets
Budgets/Fisc Web/USAS Coding
Gifted Cluster Grouping and Enrichment for

A LEVY THANK YOU
Thank you to our community members,
students and staff for being involved in the
levy campaign. We had multiple wellattended levy walks, 30,000 mailers,
16,000 literature drops, countless presentations, fundraising, phone calls, yard signs,
radio spots, more phones calls and the list
goes on and on. We could not have passed
this levy with you.
I cannot tell you how blessed I feel to be a
small part of this great district- THANK
YOU!
Thank you for voting “YES” on Issue 6!
